ie corrupted vista beta 2

IE Corrupted on Vista Beta 2?

I have Vista Beta 2 installed. Somehow my IE has become corrupted. When I try to launch it, it hangs forever. While it hangs, it maxes out one of my cores (I have a dual-core Athlon.) I have to use the task manager to end process tree on iexplorer.exe.
I tried to change my default browser from IE to anything else, but this does not work. When I go to the 'default programs' screen in Vista, I only see IE listed, no Firefox or Opera. When I go to Firefox and Opera, I can tell them to make themselves the default browser. They claim to do this, but it fails. After that, they claim that they are the default browser, but they are not.

I have the same problem, it started after I installed Office 2007 Beta. I downloaded FireFox and set it as the default browser but I'd rather get IE working again.
Anyone know how to repair the install of IE on Vista?
